A series of assistance rolled out by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) benefited 1,744 low-income workers in 17 municipalities in Ilocos Norte under its ‘Serbisyong TUPAD’.

The worker-beneficiaries all received cash assistance through DOLE’S Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/ Displaced Workers (TUPAD) Program.

Each of the workers received a P5,400-wage after completing the 16-day community cleaning and disinfection services in a series of payout ceremonies spearheaded by the DOLE Regional Office I.
