More than 25,000 job opportunities in Trabaho, Negosyo, Kabuhayan (TNK) job fair await thousands of Filipino jobseekers, especially the returning overseas Filipino workers who wish to stay in the country for good.

A total of 88 employers will participate in the job fair to be held at River Banks Mall in Marikina City this March 3-4.

“Thousands of job vacancies are available for jobseekers and there are also a lot of livelihood opportunities for our returning OFWs to provide them viable job options in their hometown,” labor secretary Silvestre Bello III said.

The joint job fair of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) aims to provide more job opportunities for the Filipino jobseekers, particularly the fresh graduates, the unemployed, displaced workers and the returning OFWs.

Most of the local job vacancies are in the industry of information and technology hotel and restaurant/tourism, health and wellness, wholesale and retail trade industries, construction, automotive, engineering and other services.

Bello also urged jobseekers to pre-register with PhilJobNet  to avoid delays during the job fair.

Jobseekers are also advised to bring 2×2 photos and the original copy and photocopies of their passport, curriculum vitae, NBI clearance, training certificate, certificates of employment, PRC license, diploma, and birth certificates.

“I strongly urge the job seekers to look for opportunities in the event, and take full advantage of what the job fair can offer,” Bello said.
