The labor department is a recipient of a brand new service vehicle for the use of its officials and employees.

Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III accepted the donation of a 50-seater luxury Yutong passenger bus from Chan Kiong Ki See, chairman emeritus of Liwayway Marketing Corporation, during a ceremonial turn-over on Thursday, at Intramuros, Manila. The company is manufacturer of popular snack brand Oishi,

“DOLE is grateful for this donation from Oishi. This vehicle is a big boost to the mobility of our employees, and in ferrying them to places for capacity-enhancing seminars and other activities to level-up their competencies,” Bello said.

Bello stressed that the donation has no strings attached, and was made solely as a gesture of goodwill on the part of the donor.

Liwayway Marketing Corporation or the snack brand Oishi has become a popular snack brand in the Philippines which has been in operation for about 70 years.

Today, Oishi’s World of O, Wow! Continues to expand, leaving trails of fun and flavorful treats across Asia: China, Vietnam, Myanmar, Thailand, Indonesia, Cambodia, and India.

Nakatanggap ang labor department ng bagong service vehicle para sa mga opisyal at empleyado nito.

Tinanggap ni Labor and Employment Secretary Silvestre H. Bello III ang donasyon na isang 50-seater luxury Yutong passenger bus mula kay Chan Kiong Ki See, chairman emeritus ng Liwayway Marketing Corporation, sa ginanap na ceremonial turn-over sa Intramuros, Manila. Ang kompanya ang gumagawa ng Oishi, isang sikat na pagkaing pang-merienda.

“Nagpapasalamat ang DOLE sa donasyon mula sa Oishi. Ang sasakyang ito ay makakatulong sa pag-biyahe ng mga empleyado para sa kanilang partisipasyon sa mga seminar at iba pang gawain para sa pag-aangat ng kanilang kakayahan,” ani Bello.

Binigyang-diin ni Bello na ang donasyon ay binigay nang walang inaasahang kapalit, at ito ay pagpapakita lamang ng kabutihang-loob ng donor.

Ang Liwayway Marketing Corporation o ang Oishi ay naging sikat na pang-merienda at ito ay may 70 taon nang gumagawa ng produkto sa Pilipinas.

Sa ngayon, patuloy ang pag-unlad ng Oishi’s World of O, Wow! at ang pamamahagi ng masarap na pagkain sa iba’t ibang lugar sa Asya tulad ng China, Vietnam, Myanmar, Thailand, Indonesia, Cambodia, at India.
