Labor and Employment Secretary Rosalinda Dimapilis-Baldoz yesterday said that “it’s all systems go” for the celebration of the DOLE’s 82nd Anniversary with the line-up of activities that is about to happen across the 16 regions of the country.
She said this year’s fete, anchored on the theme “82 Taong Mahusay Na Serbisyo sa Manggagawang Pilipino,” shall focus on recognizing the outstanding performance of DOLE offices and personnel, as well as the milestones and innovations in DOLE Programs and Services.
“Despite the challenges we encountered in the past, we have been steadfast in ensuring that the Department’s goals are met. Our team remained consistent in setting the bar higher, and often exceeded our expectations every year. Such high performance must not go unnoticed,” Baldoz said.
“Considered as another milestone in the DOLE history, the employees and officials of the DOLE will take the center stage this year representing the integral cog that keeps this agency running so smoothly,” she added.
But as festivities are focused on its employees and officials, the nationwide activities of the DOLE persisted to be service-oriented and tripartite in spirit with regional offices still holding its usual jobs and livelihood fair.
