RP among 24 countries selected to join First annual Transatlantic Forum on Migration and Integration

The Philippines is one of some 24 states globally that will participate in the key First annual Transatlantic Forum on Migration and Integration (TFMI) that will proceed in Europe, near Nuremberg, Germany, on July 9 to 13, 2008, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) today said.
Labor and Employment Secretary Marianito D. Roque said that the forum, which would tackle the important issue of overseas migration, is sponsored by the German Marshall Fund of the United States (or GMF) with support from the Robert Bosch Stiftung in Germany. Read...
